Dr. Marcia Radke is board certified in Internal Medicine and has spent most of her career as a Primary Care Physician, initially in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and now in the Tampa Bay area.
She earned her bachelorβs degree in Business Finance from the University of Wisconsin then moved to Minneapolis and earned her MBA in Management at St. Thomas University in St. Paul while working in management for a large insurance company there. Though successful in her management role for almost 12 years, she began to feel called to something different and decided to pursue a medical degree. She earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and did her Internal Medicine training at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
After residency, she practiced in Milwaukee for 5 years, with a one year hiatus to serve as a volunteer physician for Doctors Without Borders in Chhattisgarh, India in 2010. Shortly after, she moved to Florida and is now a primary care provider dedicated to comprehensive wellness of the body, mind and spirit with special focus on screening and prevention, womenβs health and chronic disease management. Dr. Radke practices evidence-based medicine and has always strived to do so in a holistic way, mindful of each personβs physical, emotional and spiritual health and healing. She also continues her volunteer work as the lead physician at a local faith-based free clinic. She is truly a patient advocate in todayβs complex health care environment.
She is equally dedicated to her parents and family and travels back to Wisconsin frequently to help in their care. She also enjoys reading (okay listening to) books, time with friends, watching Wisconsin sports teams and giving her devoted little pup Della as much TLC as possible.
